The holographic processor was born from a desire to create a process that would embed all the sound's detail in every level of itself.
Essentially I wanted to be able to look the wave detail at any zoom magnification and be able to extrapolate what the remaining wave should look like.
Here we have one of my favorite 909 kick samples from my archives. It's tweaked a bit from the original 909, but it's not too far off from what you can get out of the box.
EXAMPLE:
The script was run using 6 upper octaves and 2 lower octaves. Notice the increased upper harmonic energy, and the appearance of tempo as the harmonics get repeated over time.
